Our Under 14s and 16s girls teams are into the Grand Final. Playing early on Sunday morning in chilly conditions at St Marys Park, the teams put in exceptional performance to run out winners in both matches.

Under 14s
Having played three across the season the Woods came into match full of confidence having recorded two victories from the three matches. The team controlled the match having 12 scoring shots to 5 running out 22 point winners. Leila-Grace Ward was the star up forward kicking two majors whilst Ella Knuckey was named best player. The Woods face the Henley Sharks in the Grand Final with Henley winning the three matches between the sides in 2018.

Under 16s
In another low scoring match the Woods held up well in defence keeping their Goodwood opponents scoreless till the last quarter. Brie Medder was the star up forward kicking two majors whilst Zoe Venning has continued her stellar run of form being named best player. The win sees the Woods face the Mitcham Hawks in the season decider.
