The Blackwood Football Club officially inducted Jason Burns and Jane McCarthy as Life Members of the Blackwood Football Club at last Friday’s Annual General Meeting. In front of a large group of Woods members, families and supporters Burns and McCarthy officially became the 76th and 77th Life Members of the club. The first life membership was awarded in 1938.
Also recognised on the evening was Rachael Attiwill, Terry Fitzpatrick, Lucas Herbert, Brad Jones, Simon Rusk, Damien Salievic, Steve Woods, Andrew Work and Nick Work who were honoured with Meritorious Club Service awards having rendered ten years’ service to the Club for its betterment and the promotion of its objects.
