He’s coming home! The Blackwood Football Club is delighted to announce Jesse Watchman is returning to the Woods for the 2020 season. A junior product of the club, the 23-year-old Watchman returns to the Mighty Woods after playing the last two seasons at the McLaren Football Club in the Greater Southern Football League where he kicked 51 goals from 28 matches.

Speaking about his return to the Woods, Watchman stated he super excited to pull on the red and green once again ‘I am so thrilled to come back to the Woods. It’s like home for me with some of my very close friends at the club. I can’t wait for the season to start.

Watchman brings a strong drive to the club aiming to get the team back to the top. ‘We’re going to work hard as a unit over the summer and get back to playing the football that has done us wonders previously. I know the playing group are really hungry for success.’
