Daniel Martens has been awarded the 2019 Hills Football League C Grade Mail Medal at last night’s medal count. Martens returned to play for the Woods this season playing six games in the C Grade competition. Polling 10 votes across the games (including two best on grounds in Rounds 4 and 5), Martens to finish two votes ahead of a four way tie between Brodie Mortensen from Milang, Liam Soar from Uraidla Districts and Jack Druwitt & Nicholas Fuchs from Onkaparinga Valley.

In other counts, Nick Homburg polled 14 votes in the A Grade count, six behind winner Dylan Matsen from Hahndorf whilst Elliot Modra finished equal second with 12 votes in the Reserves medal. Skipper Kurt Thompson was also awarded the 2019 Sports Interactive Mark of the Year for his spectacular mark in Round 3 against Echunga.
