The Blackwood Football Club would like to congratulate Matt Tuck who plays his 100th senior match in the red and the green this weekend in Round 11 of the Mortgage Choice Hills Football League.

A junior player at the Woods, Tuck played his first senior game in B Grade during Round 5 of 2014 against Mt Barker. In that game he kicked two goals and was named third best player as the side went on to win the match by 113 points. He made this A Grade debut three rounds later during Round 8 against Lobethal playing three A Grade games in his debut season. Since 2016 he has established himself as a regular of the A Grade playing 65 of a possible 71 matches across this period.

In the 99 senior matches he has played for the Woods, Tuck has 69.7 percent winning percentage, has played in three premierships (B Grade 2014, B Grade 2015 and A Grade 2017), has kicked 66 goals (0.67 per match) and been named in the better players on 19 occasions (19.2 percent).
