Facing Port District in the Division One Grand Final, the sides battled torrential conditions at Alberton Oval. Leading by three points at half time, the Woods kicked two goals in the second half to run out 12 point winners and secure back-to-back premierships in the SANFL Under 16s.
The final scoreboard read Blackwood 2.3 (15) to Port District 0.3 (3) with best on ground being awarded to Zoe Venning.
