Three-time Woods junior premiership player, Kiera Mueller will make her long-awaited debut for the Sturt SANFL Women’s side against North Adelaide this weekend.

A local of the district hailing from Coromandel Valley, she is known for her high marking and trust left foot kick across the back line. She has played for South Australia in the Under 15 and Under 16 state teams in 2018 has been training with the league team for the past two seasons.

Muller is the sixth Blackwood player to make their debut at league level over the past two seasons with Scarlett Griffiths, Taylah Jayne, Tamika May, Olivia Smith, Zoe Venning playing for West Adelaide. She will play alongside her Blackwood coach and Sturt co-captain Maya Rigter who is co-coaching the Blackwood Open Women’s side in the Hills Football League commencing next weekend.
