Four players have been selected to debut for the red and the green this weekend against the Mt Lofty Devils in Round 1 of the Hills Football League.
Joel Aish, Evan Johnson, Issac McCormick and Mat Tee have been named to play their first Senior Games for Woods. Aish & Johnson pull on the red and green having been recruited during the off-season while the famous McCormick name once again will feature in the red and green once again with Issac the oldest son of three-time Mail Medal winner Simon McCormick. 2019 Senior Colt graduate Mat Tee also earns his place in the squad having completed a strong ‘pre-season’.
The side will also feature three players returning to the Woods with Daniel Bennetts, James Catford and Jesse Watchman all returning to the club.
In the twos, 2019 Senior Colt Mail Medalist Troy Hocking and ruckman Sam Zevenboom play their first game in the red and the green whilst Taylor Moore and Zac Town return to the club having not played in 2019. Jules Marjanac also makes the step up to full time senior football having made his senior debut back in 2018 whilst playing Senior Colts. Check out the full squads below.
