The Blackwood Football Club has made two changes for the Round 6 Hills Football League clash against Nairne Bremer United this weekend. The Woods have named River Moore and Jan Warbout to come into the squad for the match against the Rams at U-Install-It Kitchens Oval.

For Moore, he plays his first A Grade match of the 2020 season having played four matches in the B Grade whilst Warbout returns to the squad having missed last round against Uraidla Districts.

In the twos, Daniel Lowe has made four changes with Luke Hocking, Jules Marjanac, Adrian Ractliffe and Mitch Trimble coming into the selected squad. For Ractliffe and Trimble, it will be the first time they pull on the red and the green having transferred from Therry Penola OB Football Club in the Victorian Amateur Football Association.

For the Senior Colts, they have named as extended 24-player squad with Mitch Robertson and Alex Strauss returning to the side. The side will be trimmed on Friday afternoon for the clash against the top of the table Nairne Bremer with both the Rams and Woods the only undefeated remaining in the Under 18’s competition..

Covid-19 Protocols

For those who are planning on attending the football, all days are now subject to the following updated Covid-19 protocols which are effective from midnight Tuesday 4 August 2020 and will remain in place until further notice.:

All alcoholic beverages must be consumed while seated (this is both inside the club rooms and outside the club rooms)

– Spectators are strongly encouraged to bring their own own fold-up chairs to ensure that the consumption of alcohol adheres to the guidelines set by SA Health

– Items can continue to be purchased with food and non-alcoholic beverages allowed to be consumed while standing

– When purchasing food and beverages from within the club, they will be required to be taken to a table or chair to be consumed

– Patrons cannot stand or sit and drink at the bar

Spectators are also reminded of the existing social distancing protocols including:

– Density limits inside the club rooms

– General hygiene practices such as hand washing and keeping a 1.5 metre distance between individuals

– Not going into the change rooms unless you are on the team-sheet

– Not venturing to the huddle during the quarter breaks.
