Members, players and supporters of the Blackwood Football Club are advised of the passing of Life Member Gus Hunter.
Gus was equal longest serving A Grade coach in the history of the Woods serving in the role for eight seasons from 1968-71, 1973 and 1976-1978. He twice took the club to the ultimate glory in 1969 and 1976. In 2017, he officially became the 74th person inducted as a Life Member of the Blackwood Football Club.
The Blackwood Football Club extends their condolences to Peggy, David, Richard, Lesley and extended family for their loss.

Family and Friends of the late James “Gus” Hunter are invited to attend a Celebration of his Life to be held in the Heysen Chapel, Jubilee Complex, Centennial Park, 760 Goodwood Road Pasadena, on Thursday January 30th, 2020 commencing at 12.30pm.
