Blackwood has named six players to make their A Grade debuts for the Woods in Round 1 of the 2021 Police Credit Union Hills Football League.
Named for the first time in the A Grade are Lachlan Bahnisch, Caleb Dearnman, Oscar Hodge, Alex Scott, Eduard Van Den Berg and Sam Venning. Coach Scott Prebble said he was looking forward to getting the season underway. “The squad have really committed themselves over the pre-season and are eager to get the season off to a great start.”
In the B Grade, Daniel Lowe has named a strong squad Josh Bergin and Ryan McMurtrie playing their first game in several seasons whilst the C Grade name named 23 players with Nathan Laity, Liam Markham, Callan Marks, Connor McCarl, Dylan Scarborough, Oliver Styles and Sam Tonkin making their senior debut in the red and green.
