Blackwood has made one change to its side to face the Bridgewater-Callington Raiders for the first time in 2,499 days in Round 9 of the Police Credit Union Hills Football League tomorrow afternoon.

The side welcomes back Jacob McCarthy into the squad who returns having missed last weekend’s victory over Echunga through injury. Speaking post selection coach Scott Prebble stated that they were looking forward to this weekend. “We are currently five and three and would like to play a full four quarter performance this weekend against a strong Raiders line up. To be able to head into the bye with a six and three record would be good result.”

In the B Grade, Daniel Lowe’s side has four changes with Moe Milsom, River Moore, Mark Reynolds and Sam Tonkin coming into the selected squad. The side will be looking to secure their fifth victory on the trot which will be the first time since Rounds 5 to 9 in 2018 which the B Grade side has done that.

The C Grade has named a squad of 21 players to face the Edwardstown Football Club at home on Saturday evening. The side will be looking to secure their fifth victory of the season having won the last four matches against CBC, Westminster, Plympton and North Haven.

The C Grade match also marks a massive club milestone for Nick Work who plays his 300th Senior Game for the Woods, becoming only the eighth player in the clubs history to reach the milestone.
