Midfield dynamo Matt Tuck is set to cause more headaches for opposition sides in the HFL committing to the Woods for 2022.

The elusive midfielder has played 134 senior games for the Woods since his debut in 2014. Across this time he has played in three premierships (2014 B Grade, 2015 B Grade and 2017 A Grade), kicked 82 goals, claimed the 2020 Division One Mail Medal and finished top four in the Moulden Medal in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

“It’s great to re-sign and ensure my career at my home club keeps rolling forward.” commented Tuck

“We’re at a really exciting time in our club’s evolution and I’m committed to being a part of that.

“I’m looking forward to pre-season and helping us have a great year in 2022.”

Senior Coach, Scott Prebble said he was pleased to have Tuck in the red and green.

“Matt’s been an important part of our club for a number of years. He is a really exciting player to watch not only for our supporters but also myself as coach,” Prebble said.

“Despite only being in his mid twenties, Matt’s experience is important within our group and we’re excited to have him at the club for another year.”
