The Blackwood Football Club Mini Colts have qualifying for the 2019 Mortgage Choice Hills Football League Grand Final after defeating the Hahndorf Magpies by 25 points in last Saturday’s Preliminary Final at U-Install-It Kitchens Oval in Blackwood. In a low scoring first quarter the Woods lead by two points at the first break. Moving up the hill in the second term the Woods pilled on the pressure kicking 2 goals for the term whilst holding their opponents scoreless. Maintaining their advantage in the second half, the Woods ran out 25 point winners when the final siren sounded.
Dylan Willis was named best player for the Woods whilst Callum Finlayson, Oscar Whitehouse, Harry Lemke, Max Jones also featured in the better players.
