Liam McCarthy and Moe Milsom have been named to make their A Grade debuts for the Blackwood Football Club. After solid performances in the B Grade during Round 1 and players from the 2017 senior colt premiership, they are set to become the fourth and fifth players to make their A Grade debuts for the club in 2018:
Liam McCarthy – After winning back-to-back senior colts mail medal, the 2017 premiership player and best & fairest makes the set up to A Grade ranks. Expect McCarthy to be a noticeable player with skills on either side of his body along with his ability to weave his wave through traffic
Moe Milsom – Another player from the successful 2017 senior colt premiership, Milsom has also played junior games at West Adelaide in the last two season. With his blinding speed and jumping ability, Milsom is bound to have an impact on the match.
In other selection news, Tom Radford also returns to the A Grade squad whilst the B Grade also sees nine fresh faces in the selected squad with Grantham, Grimes, Kernich, King, Marjanac, McNabb, Reynolds, Simmons and White set to pull on the red and the green for the first time in 2018.
