Attention: Blackwood Football Club Members
Subject: Update re: Unisex Change Rooms
Dear Members/Sponsors & Parents & Friends of the BFC,
As you are aware, we are continuing in our efforts to raise funding for our new Unisex Change Rooms. On Tuesday (10/04/2018) we were successful in obtaining Council Landlord Approval for our proposed new Change rooms and we are happy to report that Council has also agreed to fund $250,000 towards the project. Council funding is subject to the Blackwood Football Club raising the remainder of the funds required to complete the project.
In addition, on Wednesday (11/04/2018) our Application for Female Facilities Round 4 was submitted to Office of Recreation and Sport for further funding to support this project. While there are no guarantees, we believe we have a strong Application and will find out after July 31st.
We are grateful for the City of Mitcham Council for their funding contribution and thank them for their support to date.
